Tessa Poem by Jade lee

Tessa

For more than a decade you’ve dedicated your life
For the joy and security that we took for granted
Now that you’re no longer here with us
We’ve realised how much we really loved you

Gracefully you’ve shared your life
Generously you shared your love
Young and old, you never discriminate
You’ve been loved and adored by all

Hope you have gone to a better place
Where you can run free and never grow old
May your gentle nature shine in heaven
And your lively spirits glide with the wind

I shall remember you whenever I hear the sirens
I never really understood why you howled at them
I shall never forgive the thunder and lightning
That had you crawled under the house
I shall never forgive the fire works on New Year’s Day
That made you fled in fear and disappeared
I shall remember the day you came back
Shaken but never fazed and we have never been so proud

We were blessed to have you as a family
Forever in our hearts you shall be remembered
Your ashes shall be laid in your favorite spot
Memories of you shall be kept alive
May you rest in peace and at ease
