Ten Out Of 10. Poem by Geoffrey Fafard

Ten Out Of 10.

10 out of Ten.
I screwed up again
1 will give you a 1 for turning up
Wow said I just One?
Thought I at least a 2 if I knew
What to do
So what would you ask of me
to earn a three?
Impossible to make that score
Next you will ask for a four
Only if you leave me alive
Then it would climb to 5
Don't make me laugh so
You're abroken man
and in a fix
Just cheeky enough
To ask for a six
Good God in heaven
You little manky rat a seven
Why not said I crying tis late
Stuff you lassie
I am worth an eight
From ridiculous you've reached the sublime
Your ego now will push for 9
No, no I smiled trapped in this pen
To take you down
I need a Ten.
