Tell Me You Love Me Poem by Hannah Barham

Tell Me You Love Me

I barely know you
But I miss you
When I don't see you
When my phone doesn't vibrate with a text from you
When you're not online

The days I'm not with you
Are empty
And drag like an exam on a summers day
When all you want is to be outside
With the people you love
And having the time of your life

Call me stupid
Say I'm too young
Too naive
Too innocent

Tell me you'd never
Tell me you're only playing
Tell me I should know better
Tell me you don't see how anyone could hurt me
While breaking my heart

But hold me in your arms
Let me live the dream
Let me love you
Love me too

Tell me you need me
Tell me you miss me
Tell me you should know better, but don't
Tell me you're scared too

Tell me you love me

Please

I love you
