Tell Me Again Poem by I Am Charlie

Tell Me Again

'Tell me again how you love me so,
how you love my eyes
and adore my face.'
She whispers,
the tears falling on that beloved face.

'Tell me again what we'll do
on Monday mornings
through to noon'
Her words break down as she goes on.

'Tell me again how we'll never part,
how we'll find each other
in our hearts.'
Her voice is hitching, her shoulders shaking.
Tell me again that I'm a silly doll,
but never the less i'll be your girl.'

And it's time to leave, and I have to go;
How I wish to say I loved her so.
But I have no words, nor any voice
but bloody hell, I didn't die by choice.
