The tears fill my eyes as I look to release the emotions that are building from within
I feel alone and scared in my own thoughts
The wonder in my eyes leave me anxious
What do I do with these feelings I have?
Why can't I let them surface so I can heal?
What am I afraid of?
Someone please tell me!
Maybe I am running from me

I am tired of running from the unknown
Face it and look it in the face and stand up for yourself
Why should I feel shame or remorse because of who I am?
Why shouldn't I feel ok with me?
I just want to learn who me is!
Who am I?

Please please3 leave me alone
I am scared and ready to hide forever
If you can't see me I can't see you
Why won't you let me be?
For it is you that I am running from so please leave me alone.

Lonliness and sorrow why are you here?
Why do you feel so present?
I have poeple who care and want a way in
Just hand them a key and allow them to unlock this door of sadness

Happiness happiness please say hello
Smiles and laughter are longing for you
When you arrive on any given day please promise me you will stay
Dancing, singing, kissing, hugging, love and joy
Are promises of happiness within so please say hello
