Peaceful In The Darkness Poem by Anne Jones

Peaceful In The Darkness

Early wakings up before the birds
Stillness in the air
No sounds to be heard
peaceful in the darkness
The moon showing its face
Stars are twinkling high above
Making them easy to wish upon
The stillness of the night allows me to be a lone in my thoughts
Nobody to answer to
No arguing in the back ground
Just me, alone as the moon stares back at me
Time passes by quickly and nature begins to come alive
Birds are chirping and singing a beautiful song
Day starts to break through the clouds of darkness
The sun begins it's rise to say hello
It is just me awake with the sounds of nature
Peaceful as can be
