Tears And The Lillies Poem by Elizabeth Padillo Olesen

Tears And The Lillies

Rating: 5.0

Tears in the valleys
water the lilies.
They are salty.
They are not so sweet to taste.
But they are there
as we swim down deep
into the waters
where the lilies live.
Let the beauty of the lilies
transform the bad taste
of tears to sweet nectar
of courage.
