Tears and the Lillies

Tears in the valleys
water the lillies.
They are salty.
They are not so sweet to taste.
But they are there
as we swim down deep
into the waters
where the lillies live.
Let the beauty of the lillies
transform the bad taste
of tears to sweet nectar
of courage.
