Tears Poem by Lucky Sinner

I try not to shed a tear
I live my life out of the fear
One day it's all going to vanish
Everything that I have built so far
No matter how hard I try
It's going to slip through my finger
They say don't hold it too tight
It may slip through
When put in the situation
All you can do is hold it tight
Like your life depends on it
Just to see it sway away in front of your eyes
In this situation even a whiskey with ice
Ain't going to help drown the pain
I know I need to sit back and see it fall apart
I know I shouldn't shed a tear
Cause that's what people say
Being a man you need to be strong
You can't have your eyes shed a tear
No matter how hard the situation is
Buckle up, bite your lips, put on a strong face
Go back into the world and show what you are made of
For there is no place in this world for someone who wants to give up
There ain't no person going to lend their shoulder
You got to pick up your fight and fight it yourselves
