Talking Heads Poem by Lawerence Mize, Sr.

Talking Heads

Rating: 4.0

The talking heads
Are at it again
Spreading discord and lies
To help Biden win
They'll sell their souls
For the hint of a story
Care not if it's true
Just want a little glory
They care not for the country
And what it can be
They want to control people
Don't care who has to bleed
They sit in their chairs
All smiley and clean
Their faces hide their true nature
That's nasty and mean
They'll give Biden the count
When he doesn't win
They're not friends of the people
When it gets down to the end
They think they're immune
To the chaos they create
I wish they'd wake up
For the country's sake
These talking heads

This time, perhaps it is the closest race for the US Presidency. Biden has already polled the record number of popular votes in US history, yet his seat in the White House is not certain. The final Verdict coming from the Supreme Court doesn't look nice for a country like the US. Whoever wins, may the world benefit from his wisdom! As a poet, this is what I want from both of them, and hope, the loser concedes defeat amicably and gracefully.
