Taken Captive
Housed in Chains
Locked in Thought
Hardened by pain
Because Freedom's Bought
Life may have beauty
But beauty is made
By wages of duty
So I'm sore afraid-
That happiness isn't found
But only pursued
and Hurt can be drowned
But never subdued
If you have a freed mind
And a wide open soul
The only truth you'll find
Is Life will swallow you whole...
