Take Your Pensils And... Poem by Iris Mista

Take Your Pensils And...

Draw the beauty of a nonexistent life
in a stream of soft flowing words
Wash away the entrenched validity
of the awkwardness of the dark.

Draw yourself the reality of a dream
Full of sparkling colors
The smell of a flourishing garden
in the heart of spring

Get out of that demolishing pool
of sawing shrill wail
Take your magic wand
and conjure that beautiful tale
