Sweet Tenderness Poem by Iris Mista

Sweet Tenderness

When I have love in my heart
Making my own pain subordinate
Breaking my ego bit by bit
I find peace so exceptional great

I do not matter in this world
Other than the love that is real
Pain evaporates in wisps of fog
Wonderful quietness I feel

It are these moments I cherish
Emptiness filled with beauty
United in sweet tenderness
One with all but still free
