Take Your 'Love' Back. Poem by Derrick Andrews

Take Your 'Love' Back.

And again, I am wrong,
You weren't here,
All along,
And yet... here I am,
Waiting, We're-
Not what I... planned,
We're... Falling apart,
Quicker than ever,
You're deceit is an art,
That Robs me of pleasure,
So, why,
Should I stay,
You lie,
I stray,
What in this world could keep us together?
My compassion has withered,
Blown away like a feather,
Yet I don't even shiver,
I've... confirmed,
That your failing me,
You... squirmed,
Screamed you hated me,
But now... I won't wait,
I have succumbed,
To our fate,
It is... unlike me,
Though, I don't really care,
I just want to be... free,
Free from you snare,
If at all, I won't miss you,
You're not even here,
These words I speak are true,
Yet your too deaf to hear,
Do you really think
I'd just sit here,
accepting your lies?
On the brink,
No more fear,
Hate is born in my eyes,
I hate what you've become,
This careless,
Worthless,
Tool,
My heart has grown numb,
Because your a blind fool,
Can you not see your neglect?
Or do you not care,
Oh yes, my do eyes reflect,
Your cold, loveless stare,
Repeated time after another,
These games annoy me,
Take your 'love' to another,
You will no longer toy me.
