Take You Wine Of Course, But Keeping You Yourself Within Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Take You Wine Of Course, But Keeping You Yourself Within

How many take wine,
How many as not men
Turning into drunkards,
Wine-takers,
Getting tipsy,
Staggering and falling
On the ways
Under drunkenness,
Intoxication
Which but they cannot abandon?

It is as because they know it not
The art of living,
The style of living,
How to live a life,
A happy life,
How to live
As a man,
Not as a drunkard, a drinker.

It is as because they drink wine not
For health
But to show their drunkenness,
How much of a drunkard are they,
How much in intoxication,
How much under tipsy
And it is wine which it is drinking them,
They not drinking wine,
But wine taking them,
Taking them to finish them off completely.

Who has forbidden to take wine,
Take you wine
But within a limit,
Keep you within a limit,
Going not beyond that,
Getting it not tipsy
That you losing temper,
Quarrelling with,
Engaged in abuses and altercation
And people after you to calm you down
Till you lose the intoxication?
