The warmth of the sweetness you fill me with,
making dinner together, your dreams of building
the perfect braai, watching the twinkle in your eye,
seeing that lazy smile

Enjoying the care and time you take to prepare
every steak while I’m doing the vegetables, the
warmth of togetherness, the joy of seeing you
happy, the delight on your face

As you’re watching your favourite program, you
taught me to live within the moment, appreciating
dedication of all kinds, tonight is dedicated to you,
your presence changing everything
