Surrender Poem by trina johnson

Surrender

A razor blade, a knife,
Something, anything
To make me feel the pain
Of my draining life

A thick cut
Deep into the flesh
Blood flowing out
At my arm I clutch

Dark peacefulness
Clinging in my mind
Loneliness, dispair
My life is a mess

Losing sight of what is real
The abyss consumes me
Blocking out all thought
CLosinmg my eyes, final seal.

Blinding white light
Cuts through the black hole
Fusing my thoughts
Returning me this night
