Best Friend Poem by trina johnson

Best Friend

Cars pass me by,
Focused on the street.
I trudge in their wake,
I have someone to meet.

I guess you can say
They're my best friend.
The will forever be there,
Beyond the end.

I can talk to them
All day;
Never running out
Of things to say.

They are
My shoulder to cry on...
With them
There is a magnetic bond.

I love them to death,
With all of my heart...
To my very last breath,
Until death do us part.
