Superstitious Resume Poem by Kevin Patrick

Superstitious Resume

Rating: 5.0

Break seven mirrors for good luck
Open umbrellas in your house
stride with pride beneath a ladder
and Crack a wishbone on a louse

Make a hobby passing black cats
Throw mounds of salt onto the floor
Never keep your fingers crossed
And Say happy birthday a week before

Put your new shoes on a table
Roast a rabbit's foot for dinner
Get a tattoo of 666
Make love to full moons like a sinner

Its always nice and sweet on Friday the 13th

Make love to full moon. There are lots of rituals in celebration of Halloween. You have amazingly narrated the celebration. Halloween is met for children. Beautiful presentation is done. Thank you very much for sharing...5 stars.

Friday the 13th to some always brings bad luck. They want to avoid this number especially if they saw a black cat crossing the street. And if something bad happened to them on that date and day they simply attributed it to Friday the 13th. A perceptive poem well expressed.

Astute observation on how superstitious people do to have good luck in life and avoid bad luck. We practice some and some are part of our culture. Some people say that they just do it anyway it will not hurt by doing so. But sometimes people just overdo it.

Put your new shoes on a table Roast a rabbit's foot for dinner- - I never heard these two before but of course the rabbit did have a very bad day and might have become superstitious whenever he saw an oven after that- - but the new shoes on the table? I cannot write a script for that- -other than Mother would not have been happy- -
