There are night times filled with purple
So beautiful it takes your breath
As you watch this night unfolding
You can feel the loss of stress

Or the sky is ablaze with fire
Bright orange is spread across
And even though the day was bad
Those worries we now can toss

Red as deep as blood you watch
Makes your heart pound with glee
It’s so lovely it doesn’t seem possible
I know this has happened to me

So you see the sky does affect us
Our lives are filled with strife
But when night time approaches
We can enjoy brilliant sunsets of life!
