Sunset Dreams

Out of the mystical power sunset in deep red,
Into the flushing sea,
The thunderous winds drop dead
And a beautiful glorious day foresee,
As a miriade of rays paints the horizon
With colourful shades startling to the eye,
The stars lit one by one in the sky,
And the tape-recorder of dreams turn on,
Dreams, that play the dance of desire,
To the heart reply from the heights of space with fire.
A sunset fired in dreams and beauty, being the best,
Always put your mind to peace and rest! ! !

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
