In the dynasty of -elfies,
Millennials are so happy,
So happy to build their online identity,
By putting out there their best selfies.
Selfies here, selfies there,
Online selfies, offline selfies,
Selfies, selfies, selfies,
An ominous cry for attention,
A benign form of expression,
Self obsession,
Self promotion,
Overly concerned with peer validation,
Overly looking for external affirmation?
Selfies should be posted in moderation!

MiniME's that you send out as a star,
To give others a sense of who you are…
A dislike can send you down,
Down this spiral of depression,
Unconditional love comes from family and God,
Unconditional like does more harm than good!
A narcissistic tendency in this digital age,
The craze, the craze of teenage,
At the crossroads of self-projection,
Stepping from shadow to shadow,
On the cracks of darkness and unknown,
To find in the end self-direction,
Enlightened by God and inner reflection!
