Summertime Treat Poem by Marilyn Lott

Summertime Treat

Rating: 5.0

I saw the sweetest little girl
Why, it was just the other day
With a pink little Popsicle
While the girl was out at play.

Blond hair hanging in curls
With big brown eyes as well
A well cared for little girl
It didn't take much to tell.

I'll bet her parents are proud
People I would love to meet
This day that I saw a little girl
With a lovely springtime treat!

Nice introduction to the little one, I loved the start. I saw the sweetest little girl Why, it was just the other day With a pink little Popsicle While the girl was out at play. Children are but the reflections of the parental love and care. I'll bet her parents are proud People I would love to meet This day that I saw a little girl With a lovely springtime treat! Nice poem. Short, Precise. Words well choosen. It deserves a perfect 10. Subhas
