Summer Days Poem by LynZ Thomas

Summer Days

Rating: 3.5

Summer Days

Waking up to the bright sunshine
Spending too much time on the phone line
Staying in your pajamas all day
Using all the ice up in the ice tray
Playing outside in the hose
Saying bye to your mom as she goes to Lowes
To buy some sunflowers
So you have something to do for hours
Having sleepovers with your bff’s
Having them over as guest
Falling asleep outside watching the stars
Then wake up over again to some noisy cars

This is some basic stuff. It really isn't a lot to mention except that it indicates that the writer likes these things and wants to do them forever. GW62
