Suffered The Worldly Noises Poem by Don Nguyen

Suffered The Worldly Noises

My head has become cloudy, uninspired;
I want to write so badly but can't find words, feel choked with impatience;
So much pressure to serve, so much desire to fulfill the promise,
So much worldly noise, so many distractions of life,
So much grief, so much affection and attention.

Singular soul, who lives for God alone, will see Him.
She simply keeps the eyes of her soul on God to adore Him alone;
For she is placed in the world but she does not belong to the turbulent current world
Of life in which pure water turns dirty and turbid
due to sins, vices, temptations, distortions, lewd conducts, foul languages.
Soul needs to focus her heart in Her Lord God alone to suffice,
To be inspired in sacrifices, to be granted with divine Truth and understanding
While dedicating in serving Him, not out of the sinful world; but while soul plunges deeply into it;
Not to be bleeded, despaired, and lost; but be resilient, trialed but unbroken.
Soul needs to filter out all the external noises
In order among the turmoils which are full human voices, soul can listen the faint whisper of the Holy Spirit.
Simplicity, purity, and divine Beauty come hand in hand,
just like heart and soul which humanly and divinely should be banded together, like on the same page.
A sage of the past had relied on the passage of wisdom of the time long past
to obtain his vast and profound knowledge which was humanly impossibly obtained,
To be acquired unless modern human mind turns back the time to search the ancient divine
My heart, soul, and mind now have to be reserved to be with my Lord alone to be pure and holy;
For only with holiness, my love could be connected to the divine Love,
So that Divine Love can be expressed for the world to see and then to believe.
From this day onward my heart and soul will be devoted to the Lord
In order to see less of the world and more of God.
