Strangeways, Here We Come Poem by Justin Gildow

Strangeways, Here We Come

Sitting on this bus
As the bus travels along
Looking at everyone
Everyone who's on this bus with me
tonight
Some prisoners are lost in their own
thoughts
Some are trying to sleep
Some rather not be bothered
Yet, regardless
I know where we're all headed
And everyone else on this bus knows it
too
Strangeways, here we come
