In the foggy, trembling night
I met a traveler with haunting sight
He sat on horse half tilted right
With a candle burning so bright
He had a turban on his head
His face was lonely and sad
He was crazy and somehow mad
He went wherever his horse fad
He was whistling in the deadly woods
Passing through the goblins hood
But if he had a experience he would
Have never entered this wood so he could
Walk in the morning ray
Alongside the twisting bay
Or could he sing dance with gay
But for this he never lay
Now
Ghosts freaks and goblins shouts
We met a traveler in the woods
Who went wherever his horse lay!
Beautiful rhyming flow keeping us hooked till the end. Ghostly freaks oh so much imagery...good one.

The rhythm and rhymes in the poem, give the story wings. Superb poetry!
Such a wonderful poem indeed. Enjoyed the story and soothing rhyming. Thanks for posting.
The use of metaphor is brilliant and the story line is perfect to give a feel of the stranger travelling through an unknown path without knowing where he is going. Great write, thanks for sharing it.10+++
