Storm Of Silence Poem by Ganesh Veeraraghavan

Storm Of Silence

Ears grow longer
Heart heavier
Corner of the eyes
Moist in tear

How your silence seemingly impotent
Can wreak havoc like storms in torrent
Where does it get its destructive power
From my heart which for your words hunger
If you hold your words captive stubborn
Anxiuos heart dries up torn
If sweet lips can mercilessly close
A heart is thrown to endless woes...
