Stop Weeping Poem by Jocelyn Dunbar

Stop Weeping

To your lonely suffering, hopelessness, pain, hurt, sorrow,
Prostration, hurt ache, madness, and sadness of inner self reach
Out my hands, clinging to me, hold me tight. I am holding you
Closely listening to your crying voice.

From the trouble of days to the strong waves;
You may encounter an endless changing world.
If you feel lost; and do not
Understand completely; what is going on;
If you think and feel you have rejected nothing to hold on to
Hold me, hold on to my hands. I am holding you tight.
I am not giving up on you. Stop crying; I am here.
Although; it is a challenging journey, you are going home to feel
My warm embrace, to feel your security and peace.

Do not feel sad now; about what happened, and rethink
What was lost? If you feel so all alone, think of me.
I gave my very heart to you; that is your strength to go on living.
I love you; it is an ending love I give you.
Wipe your tears, and stop crying.

Be strong in the Lord and the power of his might (Eph.6: 10)
Let God pull you up by his Power (Ps.54: 1-4)
Hold on to His hand, cling to him. Trust His power and hold tight.
