Stomp Poem by Felix Lee

Stomp

Stomp, stomp, stomp,
All over people’s faces.
They cry for help at times,
Or are just plain annoyances.

Even then, those feet do not differentiate
Between those in need and those who deserve it.
They just stomp about,
With those enormously big feet.

Feet which are supposed to be compassionate,
Are instead trampling indiscriminately.
Feet which are supposed to be useful,
Are being a nuisance infinitely.

They used to be good things,
Those feet in their specially created shoes.
But they started to get out of hand,
Now they just make people have the blues.

Gossip and toe-wriggling is all they do now,
Usually with the occasional toe-stabbing.
People are not amused by them,
Even those not involved in any stomping.

Stomp, stomp, stomp,
They stomp all over the place.
They have lost their usefulness,
And will probably never regain their base.
