Stock Dignity Poem by Floy Dy Ra Aka Floyd Floydson

Stock Dignity

Rating: 5.0

People stocked in refugee camp
in the mud
tens of thousands
almost without food and water
once the Welcome
applauded.

People leave politics
and humanity
torn apart by war
Escape and Odds decree.

Crowded together
like animals or goods
world a mass untold misery
without question.

You take them dignity
by your alms
let it be at last himself
to organize
and help themselves
anything better than that you label it
such as cans and their lives
maltreated.

Give them their human dignity
back
your quota policy and the Close
of borders brings nobody luck.

Even before that they were men
with dignity
and could, in spite of war
provide independent
and control their lives,
Now it's up to YOU
not to lose
millions of people
and not YOUR ramblings
without dignity.
