Still I Love You Poem by Jacqui Broad

Still I Love You

Rating: 4.8

Yesterday I sat against my wall,
enjoying the sunlight on my face.
I was waiting for peace to call,
but it came last in the race.
The sun was busy setting,
and the wind was playing through my hair.
In the shadows creeping, I'm forgetting,
but still I can hear you everywhere.
You're like a refrain in my mind,
why can't the wind just blow you away?
Because love really is blind,
and still I want you to stay.
Then suddenly I was enshrouded,
in a sudden darkness of night.
The sky also was clouded,
as I gave up the fight.
Make with this what you will,
but I love you, still...

Hello this poem is broken heart of poetic style. I really, really like this poem for it contains lot of stanzas of high order........ for instance verses like these....... Then suddenly I was enshrouded, in a sudden darkness of night. The sky also was clouded, as I gave up the fight. Kudos! A big pat on his shoulders dear poet. Proud of you (if only you write poems like these) He! he! he! :) :) :)

The heart bleeds continuously, despite our efforts to stop its tears. Interesting.
