Still As A Hill Poem by Elkan Paruque

Still As A Hill

Rating: 4.5

It was there, there on that hill that looked so still one had a chill,
It was there, there where Phil was known for his appeal and fill,

Stand still, run with your eyes closed if you have to, but stand still,
Stand still until your hill is as sensitive as Steve,
Yes, Steve, that wonderful person of a soul,
A soul so pure one could trust aloud,
So loud all would see the words coming out of the witnesses' mouth,

Stand still, don't budge,
Stand still don't move else you will have a smudge,
Stand still so still you fill,
Stand still so still you will...,
Stand still so still you don't cave,
Stand still so still you look brave,
Stand still so still you are apart,
Stand still so still just like art,
Stand still so still I will trust,
Stand still so still you are as a must,

It was there, there on that hill that looked so still one had a chill,
It was there, there where Phil was known for his appeal and fill

Don't move! You are who you are!

Still as a Hill.
