Lengthening shadows are falling across my mind,
ghosts of the past stepping into the here and now.

Wanting to be revisited and expressed, watching as
they walk around, patiently waiting their turns.

Recollecting their images and the issues they had
back in the past.

Always ready to face the inevitable and to find
solutions for feelings and emotions.

They are still running rampant in my mind today,
finding relevant facts that are acclimated and
sticking to the past.

Wanting to get rid of these feelings as I write
through each of them.
