Stealing My World Poem by venessa ambrose

Stealing My World

Rating: 5.0

Why do I sense you at every corner, and all turns?
Why does the scent of you,
Still trail me?
Why is all I see your shadow,
At my inner world?
Why do your words
Haunt my person?
Why do our glance,
Meet at every mile?
I never knew you meant much,
But the reality of my loneliness,
Now prevails much.

You are stealing my world,
Creeping to my shadows,
And making a quake,
Taking my veil of loneliness,
And placing your aura,
I ache to reach to you,
Yet your image fades,
At every reach,
Tormenting me,
Breaking me,
Stealing my sanity,
Making me weep,
In a world I know not.
