Starless Sky Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Starless Sky

Rome was not built in a day
I consider it as futile way
Why people remind about sordid affair?
Why not they start again with total fairness?

How can creation go into waste?
It is crucial taste
Let us all build it again
The road lays open

I find many sympathizers
But none offers
Any solution
With firm commitment and resolution

Each member sheds tears
Expresses fear
As if sky has become starless
Why not we get up from rubbles?

Let it start again with fresh incentive?
Be fair, reasonable and selective
Let our approach be indicate
Of resolve and purely relate

Both depressing and optimistic Kadian Leslie3 minutes ago I like the sentiment of the poem. It is imploring us to redefine our reality before if is too late.
