Stargazer Poem by Rachel The Hair Guru

Stargazer

Rating: 4.5

Half moon rising
quietly in the night
A few clouds pass
illuminated by the light.
Awestruck as I look
at the sky from below.
Gazing at the stars
eyes darting to and fro.
Amazed as I notice
all the wonders around
Keeping my eyes wide open
Such joys to be found.
The cloudy milky way
the twinkle of a star
Beautiful gifts all around us
never very far.

I love poems that rhyme and yours does. The subject is ripe for the pen and the imagination is right for the writing. Well done. GW62
