Spy Poem by Rich Harney

Spy

Rating: 5.0

You dilly and dally my lady fair
In market and gayly dress,
I've got a wickedness under my hair,
Under and under caress!

I tag along not as wanting surprise
A small half a block or so,
See if your lover in waiting there lies
Alone in the frozen snow.

This jolly white afternoon is my gift
To hear the clarion bell,
Chasing the corners and spying your lift
Pray, in an alley, do tell!

I'd do better not owning this mind-
You and a slip away haunt
Would be,we lovers and one of a kind
Slipping the naughties of taunt!
