Spring Poem by SARIKA GOYAL BANSAL

Spring

Spring
Spring brings its charm
Melancholy turned yellow with dead leaves
Full bloomed roses
Blossoming of country green
Golden ears promising good harvest
Wayward moths signaling dust storms
And my favourite fragrance of dharek flowers
Promising shelter to cuckoos
Those add melody to the ears
Waiting for late summer mangoes and jamuns
Oh spring! You represent abundance
