Sports 6 - neeraj Chopra - An Inspiring Story!

Rating: 5.0

Just a decade ago - in 2011,
Neeraj Chopra was an obese boy,
An awkward thirteen year old, from Panipat.
He was ashamed of his weight,
Which was over eighty kilograms,
As other boys teased and made fun of him.
Young Neeraj was unable to bear the bullying
By his friends and classmates any further.
His Uncle Bhim Chopra noticing his nephew's discomfort
Took him to Panipat Sports Stadium gymnasium.

Hailing from a loving farmer family,
Neeraj was raised with much love,
And pampered too, by his loving grandmother,
With heavy ‘parathas' layered with ‘desi ghee'-
Dollops of butter and cottage cheese,
And oodles of fresh cream and sweets.
In India, grandmothers and mothers love to feed
Their children with rich, delicious, variety of food,
A sign of their extreme affection and care, without realising,
That excess food would make their children fat and unhealthy.

The moment Neeraj began to exercise at the Gym
With diligence, life took a pleasant turn for the better.
He exercised regularly instructed by expert trainers.
Before long, Neeraj began to lose kilos of weight
And became fit, healthy and in good shape.
After completing the Gym sessions, he would not go home,
Instead, would spend long hours at the SAI Centre in Panipat.
A chance encounter with Jaiveer - the Javelin coach,
Who casually asked Neeraj to throw his first Javelin, changed
His destiny for ever. Jaiveer trained him to perfection.

This is a great story for the aspiring sports enthusiasts,
It was pure perseverance that took Neeraj to victory.
His practice and persistence lead him towards the path of Gold.
Neeraj started training in 2011, when he was just a boy of thirteen years,
By 2016, within a span of three years, he became the World Junior Champion.
In 2017, he won, both the Asian Championship and the World Athletic Championship
In 2018, he won gold both in Commonwealth Games as well as in Asian Games.
In 2021, the golden dreams of Neeraj and India came true with Olympic Gold Medal! As we celebrate, this success
With much jubilation, let our children learn and be inspired,
By this successful story of Neeraj Chopra!

2) We all can see At the age of 20 years he won the Commonwealth Games as well as in Asian Games.when he was 20 years old, an amazing achievement. I know the Asian Games well but not the Commonwealth Games, BUT the most important is his energy and will to leave that old fat body
