Spices Of Life Poem by Sebastian Soberania

Spices Of Life

they shall give me the main dish
the lives of the saints
and the unleavened bread of the
ten commandments
a hot tea of don't do this
and don't do that
and since then eating religion
had never been that fun

i walk my own way
opening my own secret path

i am searching for a nice dinner
with someone that makes me feel so hot
like i am chili and pepper
i am having a bottle of wine of spontaneity
on a candle light of my own mind

such a romance between myself and
my strong beliefs and my reliance on my personal faith
i walk the darkest streets of my soul
and listened to the sounds of the unknown

i speak to God in an ordinary conversation
no holy smokes no holy water no holy words

i listen to the whispers of the winds in my heart
and there i wish to see the light of God.
