Spell Check, Please! Poem by Denis Martindale

Spell Check, Please!

God, Im glad that Im a poet,
So I can serve your plan,
Sins I wand the world to know it...
Ill do the best I can.
Ill write me little poems down
So publishers can read
Then publish poems town to town
Your Gospel grace to heed...

Ill write a sonnet now and then,
Romances Ill write too
And evry time Ill prove again
The good that I can do...
Through out the Wholly Bible sift
Describing joy or tears,
Ill make you proud you gave this gift,
Ill write for years and years...

It must be grate to write as good
And bless folks here and there
And help them prey the prayers they should
To show they reely care...
So thats what I propose to try
No matter whats the cost,
Ill write until the day I die
To help you save the lost...

My word, Im quite excited, Lord,
To think its me you chose
And both my Mum and Dad ignored,
Just me to write some prose...
I know Im just a nobody
And folks are bound to dout...
But thats the truth, its upto me,
Just me, so help me out!
