Spell Poem by Robert Green

Spell

Rating: 5.0

The breath of your sweet voice
Brought me to my knees
Your words caressed my ears
As easy as you please
You took me back from hell
for a short time only
You had me in a spell
now cast back and lonely

My love for you has not died
I want to draw in your scent
This I proclaim, I have not lied
Because I know your heaven sent
The yearning to feel your touch
Allowing your fingers to linger
It hurts, oh it hurts so much
Burning, hot like cinder.
