Sorry I'M Not Good Enough Poem by Tiana Webb

Sorry I'M Not Good Enough

Rating: 4.5

Dear daddy, I want to say sorry
For I have disappointed you.
I'll never be able to reach your goals,
No matter what I do.
I thought I could count on you,
To help me stand up strong,
But your just punishing me,
For all that I do wrong.
I'm sorry I'm not like Chelsea,
With straight A's all the way.
I'm sorry I screw up,
At least once everyday.
I'm sorry I disappoint you.
I'm sorry your not proud.
I'm sorry that I'm late to class,
And sometimes are very loud.
I'm sorry for being me,
Which isn't good enough.
I'm sorry I can't pull myself through,
When things tend to get rough.
I'm sorry that I'm worthless,
And not smart enough for you.
I'm sorry you don't like my friends,
Or the things I like to do.
I wish I could be the daughter,
You strongly wish I was.
But no matter how you treat me,
I'll love you just because.
I started this poem saying sorry,
And I'll end with it too.
I'm sorry I can't be,
Good enough for you.

this i can relate to, being the black sheep of the family as a child have never been accepted but hey its alright, don't try to please anybody accept yourself, be happy with who you are without needing the accept of others even if it is your father. don't apologize just be you be who you want to be the moment you are comfortable happy with what you see in the mirror everybody else will see it to, but yeh talk to your dad and let him know how you feel but don't apologize for who you are.

Please establish a communication with your beloved daddy and do let him know your feelings. bring this poem to his notice and I am sure he'll understand you (and he does) . This poem is a beautiful expression of your feelings.

Tiana, You are oh so wrong...You are good enough for your daddy... and so much more... as a father, I know. Believe me, I know. Talk to him, let him read your amazing, emotional words. Believe me, You won't regret it. Father's Always love thier little girls... Never once have I not been proud of my own two grown daughters. They are my Life, as you are to your Daddy. Great Ink... but listen to me...I know.: -) Kelly.
