Sophia Poem by Randy McClave

Sophia

Rating: 4.0

Sophia do not weep
As you preciously sleep,
Daddy's not far away;
For you to pray.
In your crib you now rest
You are so very blessed,
Love will never bid adieu
As daddy, is always with you.
From your tiny adored hands
Will fall grains of colored sands,
And your tiny darling feet
Someday, they'll take you to adventures to greet.
Upon your small cherished face
Memories you will surely embrace,
And with your wee tiny eyes
You'll learn, and you will become wise.
So, with a kiss upon your head
Remember what I have said,
In a mirror someday you will stare;
And you'll see daddy, standing there.

Sophia, please do not cry
Let this be but a sty in your eye,
As I have given you a kiss
Which you will keep, as you reminisce.
