Sonnet: Thank You Doctors, Whole-Heartedly Poem by Dr John Celes

You both remained our family healers great,
Who promptly treated us when we fell ill,
And saw us early, neither made us wait
Nor charged us heavily, a mammoth bill!

How patiently you cared for patients all!
The world admired your service and your toil;
Around the clock, you worked, attending call:
Both famous family practitioners of soil!

Today, I’m proud to be a Doc like you,
And teach young medicos, the healing art;
God blesses us for noble labor too,
And gives us contentment till we depart!

I thank you doctors deeply from my heart!
God will reward you for your loving part!
