Sonnet: Thank God For All The Things He Does Poem by Dr John Celes

Thank God for all the things He does on earth,
And praise His love and care of creatures made;
He has been doing this before your birth;
His love is boundless and can never fade!

Thank Him profoundly for amenities -
For shelter, clothing, food, water and air;
Despite our sins, He gives them and pities,
And bothers much about human welfare.

Although He may allow in life some strife,
He offers solutions whenev'r we pray;
The Life-giver is Care-taker of life;
Does He not bring the sun and moon each day?

Thank God for everything He does, all free;
Repent for sins that hurt the Almighty!
