Somnambulism Poem by Isaac Maez

Somnambulism

Melting into a dark abyss of nothingness
Never wanted to exist in this state
I have swallowed insurrections meal
Too late to repent of this sin
Yet I am breathing in the fear again
Alone in an ever crowded mind
When does non-existence start
Or does life continue forever and ever
Spiral, spinning descent, almost tasteless
The outer layer of flesh is melting
Bones exposed to the universe of touch
Speeding into eternity
Is this really me?
Is this what I hear...see?
No pain, just numbness
Flatline...I still hear voices. Death begins
