Somewhere Over The Rainbow Poem by Paul Sebastian

Somewhere Over The Rainbow

Somewhere over the rainbow
I will meet the love of my life
Somewhere out there my knight waits
To sweep me off, make me his wife

Somewhere over the rainbow
Far away from noisy city’s glow
Settle down by seaside bungalow
Bear, raise, and watch children grow

Somewhere over the rainbow
We’ll have a dairy and vegetable farm
We'll sweat for us, reap what we sow
Dine with the finest wine, keep warm

Somewhere over the rainbow
Read a classic novel or write poems
Children outgrow us, our steps slow
Marry, gone their own; we dream on

Thankfully, we return life-gifts to God
His grace was sufficient for us this long
Supplier of all needs has been Our Lord
When eyes close, we’ll go where we belong
Somewhere over the rainbow
