Sonnet 1 Poem by Paul Sebastian

Sonnet 1

Our hearts warmed in mid summer
Rooted our love deeply in our hearts
Entwined, none can make us asunder
I cannot journey life with you apart
You wake mornings, accompany my nights
Seed of our dream has begun to grow
Careful tending has grown love's delight
Bloom all seasons, brighten our morrow
Declare, heaven made us for each other
Leaving me would tear my heart to shreds
Grieving loss, I would to ashes smother
Facing such darn dark morrows, I'd dread
If fate has found our lives, as such to be
Better to break these chains, set our lives free.

Beautiful write...! Very deep sentiments of mental affinity and love powerfully and forcefully expressed! Your first experiment with sonnet form is a great success!
