Something that comes on slowly,
A smile across the room.
A face that blooms before me.
And lights up the entire room.
Talks that last forever,
Messages that awake me at night.
Laughter is heard and I can
See my heart beat tonight.
You come and
Sweep me off my feet!
Fly off of the floor,
You come and make
My heart skip a beat!
And I’m gasping for breath once more.
And excitement that over fills me!
Nothing that can be ignored.
The way you make my heart feel,
Makes me trust you that much more!
Its in your eyes!
I can see it, you would never lie,
Never try to hurt me!
And though before,
My trust was broken,
You came and mended me again!
And now I feel free,
You’ll never hurt me,
You’ll never leave,
Never desert me.
And that’s all I need!
Is just someone to be there..
You make me feel,
As though I’m flying!
As though I’ll never touch
The ground again!
You make me see,
Everything I’ve been missing,
You’ve opened my eyes
To this world again!
In your arms I feel safe,
As though no one can hurt me.
In a crowded room,
All I see is you!
The way you look at me
Tells me you feel that way too.
And I don’t know what else that
I can say,
I love you more
And more,
With every passing
Day!
